As a part of documenting the Khond’s Adivasi culture in Aruku Valley, Dhaatri and their interns manage to map individual agriculture lands of each farmer and community forests of each village with the help of GPS devices. Lands and forest are important and function as the main spring keeping the Khond’s culture and their traditional way of living to flourish. Interns and Dhaatri’s fieldworkers work together in collecting individual data of each farmer.
Interns, fieldworkers and villagers are working hand in hand as a team where every member complements one another. Together they hiked countless steep hills, different kind of cultivation lands, bushes and forests to map the area.
Recently they have just completed mapping about five villages.
